What We Do

Best described as a 'musical youth club' Stockport Music Project provides creative safe space music learning opportunities for all abilities, young people age 11-16.

We run two regular, weekly sessions each with a music leader and volunteer, chosen for their committment to professional development, youth and community work.

Creatively lead by young people, learning is achieved through guidance, encouragement, participation, enjoyment and inspiration gained from being a member of a non-judgmental ensemble.

We also work with associate partners organising community events in Reddish, and play a lead role in the creative vision behind the Reddish Events Team; for more specific events information please visit > www.reddishevents.com <

* By arrangement, we are happy to extend the age range to age 18.
