We run regular, weekly youth music sessions in different locations, each with a music leader and volunteer, chosen for the job due to their engagement in music performance, education, youth and commuity work. Music Technolgy Music Technology activities begin with basic loops and beats, and develop to include full song production, arrangement, recording and mastering. These lessons are ideal for absolute beginners and those with some basic knowledge of chords, scales and music theory. Initially available as 1-1 tuition, learners are encouraged at the earliest opportunity to learn alongside other young people, thereby giving and recieving encouragement from other learners and young musicians. Music Tech activities take place at our: Offerton Youth Music Group on Thursdays

Music Theory Basic music theory activities are available at our Offerton venue, on Thursday evenings. These sessions are ideal for absolute beginners and those with some basic knowledge of chords, scales and music theory. Initially available as 1-1 tuition, learners are encouraged at the earliest opportunity to learn alongside other young people, thereby giving and recieving encouragement from other learners and young musicians. A more advanced music theory based project is available, primarily with the view to supporting school courses and qualifications, and this is usually delivered as an extra session, via a parental permission granted, online video link.
